Game at the club between Soulstone miner (S&M)
and Blauj (BJ)
Setting: Day Dreamers Void, some tombstones, spooky forests and monoliths floating through space. Opposing
quarters. Another stand near the middle strategy.
The performer and Molly's little leg humpper
battle it out. Autopsy shot into Melee, missed and poisoned the dog. The
performer performed!
Gentlemen its time to choose your kink:
S&M with Colette, Casandra, Angelica,
Oxfordian mage, Manequins, Performer and the Corphyee Duet. S&M went for "Line in
the Sand" declared, and "Breakthrough" undeclared.
or
BJ with Molly as a spirit summoner, Sybelle, Belles, a Doxy, an Autopsy and a canine remains. BJ took "plant evidence" and "line in
the sand". He declared them because he wanted any free advice he could get from
passers by.
"Hey, dude you know you have to plant the
evidence on his side of the table? Right?"
"Why no I did not. Thank you so much for sharing
you really are very kind."
BJ's plan was for the girls to move into the
middle, using Doxy-pushes, lures and other free moves and activations and drop
schemes on the way. Once there he wanted to slap, leak body fluids and summon
till the end of the game. The autopsy would run schemes using reactivate
and the canine remains would run schemes hump legs and bother the enemy.
S&M had a more flexible plan and dirty tricks
to deal with the impending scrum in the middle. He would put only a few quality
models into the ruck and then slash with sabres, blast (extras via understudy),
slice and duet to victory. On the flanks schemes would be spammed via Colette
and the the performer.
BJ began with some Doxy on Belle action that
understandably put Angelica off-course and manoeuvred the zombie slapping
line into the middle, which dropped schemes enroute.
The belles efforts were supported by a drowned, that dropped in, died and
dropped another scheme. Whatever the belles did in the bushes and graveyards it
planted a lot of evidence and certainly left its mark on the centre line. The
zambie slappers and Molly also managed to kill the Oxfordian Mage who maybe
died smiling, but maybe it was just the taste, we will never know. Bettie
had arrived with the Drowned's death. The autopsy got into a good position on
the flank, and with reactivation managed to spam schemes and even reanimate a
corpse. The rotten lil rabid-leg humper (Canine Remains) saw the performer, and
liking those luscious thighs so very much double walked into melee range.
Then S&M started. Casandra noticed that
Sybelle was exposed on the flanks and went for it. Hearing the safety word
(thesaurus I believe), Molly and the slapping line manoeuvred and dropped in a
another doxy and a drowned to help explain that there are rules for that sort
of thing. Colette sent in the Corphyee Duet to help her Henchwoman punish the naughty. The long and short of it was this; Sybelle went
down along with a turn's worth of summons (Doxy and a Drowned). Casandra and
the Duet took a little splash from body fluids, and another 1 or 2
resurrectionist schemes got planted.
A lot of miner's activities went into this and
netted no schemes, and no breakthrough. It found S&M's Red and Black joker
for him on successive double flips, used soulstones for triggers and a cheated in a lot of cards. Meanwhile
without cards in S&M's hand the Autopsy reactivated and spammed more schemes in a graveyard.
Although Colette promptly dealt with whatever it was he had dug up or planted.
Whilst dealing with the Autopsy's graveyard-scheme
spam Colettee also had to deal with a lucky Bettie and an overly affectionate
hound, who was busy loving the performer's leg. Despite this Arcanist schemes were spammed
left right and centre by the performer, mannequins and Colette and Angelica. Colette was setting up for quite a show!
But the club called time several times, and eventually
it was meant. Although it had been only two turns there were 20 + scheme, scrap
and corpse counters on the table. Whatever Colette and Molly had done, there had
been a lot of it. Victory would go to the Mistress with schemes in the right
places.
But whose schemes were in the right place? .
BJ 7 VP and S&M 1 VP. Molly dominated.
S&M had not been tabled, was actually in a very good
board-position with plenty of schemes but BJ's schemes and models were flukily in all
the right places at the right time. Another turn and S&M would have broken
through.
S&M is a super sporting guy, a super-player, and building yet another ace-looking crew. He is also super patient with a super noob like me, and my non-stop Malifaux-faux pas.
All in all a super time, super game and super company. Super!
